WE’RE HIRING: MASONRY FOREMAN

Proven Contracting INC is looking for an experienced and motivated Masonry Foreman to join our growing team.

The ideal candidate is a skilled mason and confident leader who can effectively coordinate crews, manage day-to-day site activities, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard of quality.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervise and coordinate masonry crews on active job sites

  • Organize daily manpower, materials, tools, and equipment

  • Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications

  • Ensure work is completed according to project plans, schedules, and quality standards

  • Monitor productivity and provide direction to crew members

  • Coordinate with project managers, site supervisors, subcontractors, and other trades

  • Identify and communicate potential issues or delays

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

  • Ensure company and site safety procedures are followed

  • Train, mentor, and support labourers and less experienced crew members

  • Communicate daily progress and site requirements to management

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Several years of masonry experience, with previous foreman or leadership experience preferred

  • Strong knowledge of brick, block, stone, and other masonry applications

  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications

  • Strong understanding of masonry methods, materials, and equipment

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills

  • Ability to manage crews and maintain productivity

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

  • Ability to work independently and effectively under pressure

  • Commitment to safety, quality, and professional workmanship

  • Valid driver's licence is an asset
