MASONRY ESTIMATOR – JOIN OUR TEAM

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Masonry Estimator to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of masonry construction and the ability to accurately review drawings, specifications, and project requirements to develop competitive and comprehensive estimates.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Review architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and tender documents

• Prepare accurate material and labour takeoffs for masonry projects

• Develop detailed and competitive project estimates

• Obtain and review supplier and subcontractor pricing

• Identify project requirements, exclusions, and potential cost risks

• Prepare bids and proposals within established deadlines

• Work closely with project management, suppliers, and subcontractors throughout the estimating process

• Maintain organized and accurate estimating documentation

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• Previous experience estimating masonry construction projects

• Strong knowledge of brick, block, stone, and related masonry materials

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications

• Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

• Strong organizational and time-management skills

• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and estimating software

• Experience with PlanSwift is considered an asset
